Visitors can explore important historical landmarks, including the Church of the Holy Apostles, a remarkable Byzantine monument inspired by Nea Moni and dating back to the 13th–14th century. The village is also famous for its traditional “xysta”, a unique decorative technique that creates striking black-and-white patterns on building facades, giving Pyrgi its distinctive appearance and making it unlike any other village in Greece.
