With partial views of Triboa Bay, this ocean-inspired sanctuary is perfect for reading, remote work, or simply soaking in the vibrant wildlife of Subic Bay. THE VIBE & LAYOUT: The Nest spans two adjoining, air-conditioned rooms in a historic US Navy building. Ascend the stairs to find cozy reading nooks, a relaxing indoor hammock, and classic jalousie windows framing the forest and the bay beyond. SLEEP & LOUNGE: Bedroom Area: Features a comfortable Queen Bed and a Double Bed (which is styled as a Daybed and we only add sheets on request). Living Area: Cozy seating, a flat-screen TV, and an additional Sofa Bed for flexible sleeping arrangements. 🍳 COMPACT KITCHENETTE: Small but highly functional for home cooking. It includes an electric stove, toaster, and essential pots and pans. Welcome Treat: Enjoy complimentary cold drinking water and refreshing local Calamansi juice waiting for you in the fridge! EFFICIENT SPLIT-BATHROOM: Designed so two people can get ready simultaneously! The toilet is located down a small hallway, the shower area is curtained off, and the vanity/sink is conveniently integrated into the kitchenette space. You are in the heart of an active ecosystem—expect to see and hear quirky monkeys, woodpeckers, parakeets, crows, and hornbills right outside your window. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Is there an elevator in the building? A: No, this is an authentic, historic Navy building. Ocean Nest is a 3rd-floor walk-up (stairs only), rewarding you with beautiful bay and forest views at the top! Q: What is the bathroom setup? A: It features a unique, efficient split design. The shower and toilet are in separate dedicated spaces, while the sink is located in the kitchenette area so multiple guests can freshen up at once. Q: Can I cook meals there? A: Yes! The kitchenette is compact but fully equipped with an electric stove, toaster, and basic cookware for preparing your own meals. Q: Will we see monkeys? A: Very likely! The forest is teeming with wildlife, including monkeys and tropical birds. We just ask that you admire them from a distance and keep food secured. The bathroom features excellent water pressure, and hot and cold water. CONNECTIVITY & ENTERTAINMENT: Work: Fast Fiber Internet is provided. (Nature Note: Because we are nestled in a vibrant rainforest, our local wildlife occasionally interrupts the line, but it usually comes right back!) Play: Relax with our collection of books, board games, and Netflix. OUTDOOR & NEIGHBORHOOD PERKS: Shared Spaces: Enjoy meals at the shared backyard picnic tables. Families: Baby crib and high chair available by reservation (fee applies). Other things to note ACCESSIBILITY 3rd Floor Walk-Up: We are located on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Consider it your daily step-goal with a view! Child Safety: To preserve the tranquil vibe of the building and for safety reasons, we do not recommend this Nest for children under 7. The historic hallway railings are not child-proof, the unit features breakable decor, and our neighbors are highly sensitive to noise. (If you do bring younger children, please supervise them at all times). TRANSPORT & UTILITIES Vehicle Recommended: Subic taxis can be pricey, so bringing your own car is ideal. Roadside parking is available. Bus transports are available at scheduled intervals. Immersive Wildlife: Expect to see monkeys, birds, insects, and reptiles—we are in their beautiful habitat! Connectivity: While we have great internet, severe weather or our mischievous wildlife can occasionally cause brief power or internet interruptions. HOUSE RULES & FEES The Vibe: Strictly no loud parties, karaoke, or hard liquor. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM. (Note: If our neighboring tenants ever get loud at night, please text us so we can alert village security!) Digital Ethics: Illegal downloads are strictly prohibited on our network. Guest Capacity: The base rate covers 2 guests. Extra fees apply for additional overnight guests and daytime visitors (₱500 per daytime guest; please inform us in advance). Special Requests: Early check-in or late check-out may incur extra charges. PETS & SUSTAINABILITY Approved Pets Welcome: Pets are allowed after an approval process and a pet fee. Important: Crown Peak Management strictly imposes a ₱5,000 fine for any pet waste left in common areas (hallways, parks, sidewalks). Please clean up after your furry friends! Eco-Cleaning: To conserve environmental resources, we provide cleaning and sheet changes every 3 days for longer stays. (Daily changes can be arranged for a fee).
