The Lodge is dedicated to relaxation and rejuvenation. The best moments begin where the city ends and the forest walks begin !! Guest access Guests enjoy all gardens, our natural pool—shared with us as property owners, so you may see us around. There’s a trampoline (kids must be supervised) and a small cubby house at the back for supervised play. Respectful shared use ensures everyone can unwind, explore, and make the most of every space across our tranquil grounds Other things to note House Rules for Your Stay Check-in/Check-out Check-in is from 2pm. Check-out is 10am. Early check-in or late check-out (from/until 12pm) may be arranged for $35AUD each, or both for $65AUD. Please request in advance. Noise & Quiet Hours Quiet time starts at 8pm—please keep all music and conversation at a low level indoors and out. No parties or events are permitted—this is a relaxing retreat, not a venue. Pets & Smoking No pets allowed at the Lodge. No smoking anywhere inside or on the property. Leaving cigarette butts will result in extra charges. Electric Vehicle Charging No EV charging available. Please do not use power points on the deck, as this overloads our house and may cause outages. Lagoon (Natural Pool) Lagoon is open from early November to early March and is shared with the property owners. Enter at your own risk—no supervision provided. The pool is natural, so water clarity varies but is safe for swimming. If you prefer a perfect pool experience, please try the local public pool. Children must always be supervised. Pool towels are under the laundry sink (not bath towels). Ask for extras if needed. Set within the Perth Hills, our gardens embrace natural beauty: wild, seasonal and authentic rather than picture-perfect. Guests & Visitors Only booked guests are allowed; please ask if you’d like someone to visit. The Lodge is in a peaceful residential area; please show respect to our neighbors and the environment. Firewood We can provide quality firewood and set up the fire for $35 per basket. You may bring your own (must be dry). Please don’t use sticks or leaves from outside—extra charges apply for misuse. No toilet paper in the fire! Cleanliness & Care Please leave the home as you found it: clean, tidy, and with all furniture returned to its original place. Place all rubbish (including nappies) in the outside bins. Excess or bulk rubbish left behind will incur a removal fee. Notify us of any breakages: guests are responsible for damage. Other Guidelines No fake tan or heavy makeup on towels or linens: damage will result in extra cleaning costs. Please respect all signs in and around the house, as well as the local wildlife. Check-in Instructions Final details, including directions, will be sent on the morning of arrival, after the property has been cleaned. Cancellations Cancellations accepted up to 5 days before check-in; after that, no refund. We look forward to welcoming you!
