Before you fall in love with the Crow's Nest (and everyone does!), note our guest limit is strictly 6. Please book counting everyone who is staying, including counting children over 6 mos. of age. The Crow's Nest is a cozy, fully-furnished beachside cottage just 10 minutes from Galveston. Grab a book, a glass of wine, and enjoy the view from the deck that wraps around the front of the house. After spending the day on the beach, cool off in the outdoor shower and take a nap on the hammock. Our home is only 850 square feet and sleeps up to 6 people comfortably: one bedroom downstairs with queen size bed, one bedroom upstairs with a queen size bed, and another bedroom upstairs with a twin bed and additional twin trundle. There is a full bathroom on both floors. Plus, the private outdoor shower. Fully equipped galley kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker, toaster, blender, cooking and eating utensils: pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware, etc. Family room has a SmartTV with streaming services and DVD player. Upstairs bedroom has Apple TV, DVD player and XBox One. (Feel free to sign in with your own Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video accounts, but don't forget to sign out!) High-speed internet with WiFi is available throughout the house and deck. Rental includes use of beach chairs, sand toys, and a wagon to haul it all! Grab the flashlights and look for sand crabs after sunset! Charcoal grill is available for use. Bath/wash towels and bed linens are provided. Our home does not have laundry facilities (washer/dryer) but there is a very nice laundromat in across the street about 1 block east. Please BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS. NO smoking. NO parties. NO pets. NO exceptions. Please note our house is NOT "baby proofed." Driveway parking is available for no more than 3 cars. No street parking is allowed in this neighborhood. Our city has established a quiet time ordinance limiting excessive noise from 10pm-8am. (STR24-00002) Jamaica Beach Public Pool is also available for guests to use when open. $5 per person per day entrance fee. We are available via email and text messages through your stay, should you have questions. Jamaica Beach is a wonderful small community. Many full time residents live in this quiet neighborhood. Galveston is a short 10 minute drive away. Enjoy entertainment, restaurants, festivals, museums, and the rich local history of this vibrant seaside town. Small grocery store, liquor store, gas station, marina and restaurants are located just a few miles away. Did we mention the view?!
