Quiet apartment overlooking Lake Simms and the Alps

The municipality of Söchtenau, in the heart of the Chiemgau, is located in the district of Rosenheim. The OT Untershofen is directly on the Simssee between Munich and Salzburg. Beautifully situated in Upper Bavaria near Rosenheim and Prien am Chiemsee. Mountains, lakes and a wide range of leisure activities around the cities of Wasserburg, Burghausen and Kufstein, in nearby Austria, complete the offer. For your stay with us in the house, you have a self-contained apartment on the 1st floor and a private entrance. The space Our apartment is spacious. Via the staircase you will find yourself in the hallway from where you can find the bathroom, kitchen, south balcony and living room. In the large living room there is a 3rd and 4th sleeping option or the bedroom with double bed and the east balcony can be reached. Guest access The apartment is on the first floor. The locked apartment is accessible via the shared front door. On the upper floor there is the bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom as well as the two balconies. (South and East) We live on the ground floor. Other things to note The public swimming area on Lake Simssee with jetty can be reached on foot in 7 minutes or less. Right next to the beach is a BEACH HOUSE with beer garden / lake bar / café terrace. From the south balcony, there is an unobstructed view to the south. The Chiemgau mountains such as Kampenwand / Hochries / & Wendelstein invite you to hike or take the cable car or the cog railway to relax. With good visibility, the highest mountain in Austria "the Großglockner" is clearly visible from the Hochries.
