The space The fully outfitted studio apt. upstairs Comfortable, open-plan, second-floor, studio apartment in our passive-solar, energy efficient house. We live downstairs. Upstairs space includes sunny kitchen & dining area with pastoral views, double bed, futon sofa, living room sofa, and private bath.There are woods for exploring, a rural road for a brisk walk and of course half an hour to Manchester, VT, about 45 minutes to Saratoga and a little longer to Bennington, VT for a variety of stimulating activities. Guest access Entire 2nd floor through a shared mudroom entrance on the ground floor upstairs. There is a patio in front of the house with a firepit you're welcome to use to enjoy the views. Other things to note We have an indoor cat who lives downstairs and is rarely tempted to go upstairs when there are guests there. If anyone is highly allergic, a cat did live there for a couple of months when the space was under construction and our current cat does like to go up there when people he knows are up there. PLEASE NOTE: This space is not set up for toddlers. The entire property (inside & out) is a tobacco-free area. We don't offer this listing to parties to conduct hunting activities.
