If you're lucky, you might just spot the family of platypus in the property's private billabong. The space Water Gums Retreat sits on forty acres of beautiful bush land. The two-story house was lovingly designed and built by our family, and features a wood fired heater, fully equipped kitchen and open plan living space that opens onto an expansive covered deck. The house has been continuously updated with modern comforts to complement its cozy charm, including satellite wi-fi, reverse cycle air conditioning, a washing machine and a Smeg oven. With no other house in sight, Water Gums Retreat is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with family, friends and partners. The house has 2 queen bedrooms, 1 double bedroom, and 1 room with 3 single beds and 3 single mattresses that can be used as needed. There is 1 bathroom on each level, with the downstairs bathroom featuring a full-sized spa bath. Despite its secluded position, Water Gums Retreat is just a short drive from the township of Gloucester, where groceries, cafes, pubs and restaurants can be found.
