Regarding Cell Service: Only AT&T cell service works in the majority of Three Rivers and at the house. Verizon has worked midway in Three Rivers before cutting out. Wifi is provided at the home along with a landline for calls within the United States. Regarding planning your visit: Are you wondering about visiting both the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks? Our guests have loved exploring both of these parks combined! If you plan to visit the Kings Canyon National Park, we suggest visiting the Cedar Grove area. Guests who have visited the Cedar Grove area have all exclaimed how delighted they were by the experience, describing it in these various words, "absolutely stunning, splendid, and exquisite." Zumwalt Meadow, Roaring River, John Muir Rock at Roads End, Grizzly Falls, it's all amazing! The Cedar Grove area closes for the winter, so be sure to plan accordingly. In addition, be sure to visit the General Grant Tree and the Grant Tree Walk, shortly after you enter the Kings Canyon National Park. *If you want to explore both the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, including the Cedar Grove area, then we recommend a minimum of a 3 night stay to ensure a full day in each park. Lastly, the Mineral King area of the Sequoia National Park is also majestic and unique! It is located in a different area of the SNP, with a different access road. You would need a day to explore this beautiful area of the park, and do some day hiking. *If you want to get a greater exposure to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks that also includes the Mineral King area of the SNP, then we recommend at least a 4 night stay. This would ensure that you have a full day to spend exploring each of the areas. *There are many attractions and hikes to go on in all of these areas! You will certainly not be disappointed whatever you choose! There is simply nothing like the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, and all of their splendor! Guests have access to the entire property, except for some locked cabinets located inside the home. Guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer. Prior to your arrival, we provide you with important information about the home, and are available to answer any questions you might have about the area, or park attractions as you plan your visit. On the day of your arrival, we are happy to give a tour, but also provide a self check in option for those who want to continue with their itinerary for the day, or time in the park, without interrupting it to check in. The Self Check In option is to be orchestrated in advance during pre-arrival correspondence with the host. During your stay, we are reachable by phone if you want to call or text us with any questions that might arise about the home, places to dine, etc. We like to be available, so we encourage our guests to contact us at any time during their stay. The home is located in a quiet and peaceful area without homes right next to each other. Land and mountainous terrain lies between properties. We are far enough from the main road to feel remote, yet close enough to hear the river most of the time. You will need a vehicle to get around however don't hesitate to take a walk and check out the area. Great places to walk or run. We like to walk a 40 minute loop every chance we can. 10 minutes to the town of Three Rivers. 3 miles to the Sequoia National Park Entrance. 57 minutes to The World Ag Expo / Tulare Farm Show.
