Friendly hosts on site :-) The space A comfortable farmhouse home, with exclusive in-ground solar heated pool. The main living areas consist of a large salon with big comfortable sofas, Smart TV, Fibre Internet, french doors onto front garden, a dining room with seating for 8 opens off the rustic kitchen with large oak island and seating for socialising while cooking is underway on the large gas range cooker. Fully equipped kitchen that includes a dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee machine. 9kg washing machine in the utility/boot room. The back garden hosts the 10x5 metre solar heated pool, sun loungers and various relaxing seating areas in the shade under the pergola or on the terrace. A gas BBQ and outdoor dining area with lighting for late evenings outside. The property is set in the middle of 21 acres of land in the centre of pretty gardens, barns and fields for the animals where we keep 4 horses, 3 pet sheep and our nosy entertaining chickens. Fresh eggs are free here :-), just ask. Upstairs has the large master double bedroom with ensuite bathroom including twin sinks, shower, bath and bidet. On the same floor the Family Suite is divided into 2 connecting bedrooms, 1 double bed and 2 single beds with a shared ensuite bathroom between. Downstairs off the lounge is another double bedroom with a small but cute ensuite shower bathroom. Guest access At the end of a rustic country lane (tarmac) is the huge gravel drive with ample parking. The main entrance to the house is through the farmhouse kitchen or via the boot / utility room. In the middle of the house is the back door to the garden, patio and pool or via a side gate next to side entrance. ccess as well as a side gate to the garden and pool area. Owners accommodation is out of sight from the house for daily maintenance of the pool, gardens and animal care. One downstairs space off the kitchen locked off for private storage but does not interfere with the flow and main use of the house. Other things to note We have lots of animals including dogs so not suitable for anyone with sensitive allergies to feathers or fur. Jayne rides her horses frequently on the fields, surrounding chemins and the purpose built sand school. Guests are welcome to visit and say hello to the animals, collect eggs but for safety it is not permitted to enter the fields unaccompanied as all animals can be unpredictable at times.
