Cévennes. Bed and breakfast in the heart of nature

House surrounded by forests with unobstructed views of nature, in the Cévennes National Park, 2 km from the Château de Portes. Ideal for lovers of hiking, calm, plants or animals. In addition to the local wildlife, many of them inhabit the house and especially the garden: dogs, cats, peacocks, pheasants, chickens, roosters, frogs, etc. The Régordane path (GR700) passes right in front of the house. Beautiful river swimming spots in the area as well. The space House with a large plot, on a wooded hillside. Private: Bedroom and bathroom (combined in one large room upstairs) + balcony (it is however exceptionally necessary for me to go through your room to access the attic or roof). Shared with me: Kitchen, dining room and outdoors. Guest access There is room to park in front of the mailbox. Access to the room is not independent, I'm the one who welcomes you the first time you arrive. During your stay I welcome you to my home, so thank you in advance if at the time of booking you introduce yourself a little (for example where you are from and what brings you here🙂). Other things to note Maximum capacity: 2 adults and one child or one adult and two children. For three adults it's not really suitable or for infants. For hikers on Chemin de Régordane I can sometimes make some adaptations to my listing details, depending on my availability. Please note that you should consider before you book: - Roosters sing very early in the morning. Provide earplugs in case it bothers you to sleep. The same goes for peacocks, but only between mid-April and early July. - No TV - No shutters on the windows but blackout curtains. - No door between your bedroom and your shower room/toilet, a curtain separates. A large window makes it easy to ventilate this bathroom on the other hand. I am not a professional host but a private individual who welcomes you under his own roof.
