La Maison d'en Face, stones and garden!

Independent gîte for 4 people in large private garden of 1300 m2. WIFI connection. Disabled access, large walk-in shower. Large living room with fitted kitchen (fridge / freezer, oven, microwave, raclette ...). Garden furniture and closed shelter for bicycles or motorcycles Living room closed by a curtain with sofa bed (good bedding) Bedroom with plenty of storage. Household linen and organic products provided. Shower room-WC Washing machine, iron and ironing board, broom vacuum cleaner. The space Located in one of the authentic stone villages of the Chalonnaise coast, an old renovated barn will welcome you in complete independence. It is surrounded by a private 1300 m2 garden, partially enclosed by murgers (dry stone dividing walls), where you can enjoy cherries, plums or nuts depending on the season. A cadole will make children happy. “Green walks”, “hike-sketch” or “botanical”, many hiking trails will allow you to discover the characteristic landscapes of hillsides, living hedges, thatches, vineyards, rivers and wooded hills. Strolling through the village, you will discover fountains, washhouses, medieval crosses, 12th century church, and the castle of the poet and humanist Pontus de Tyard, which overlooks Bissy. In the heart of Romane history (Cluny is 30 minutes away) and the vineyards of the Chalonnaise coast, you will be spoiled for choice between historical, gastronomic, sporting and cultural visits, according to your desires. Guest access Easy access by road, large space to park cars. You will be in total autonomy because the house is independent. Other things to note There are no shops in the village (but many shops and a supermarket 10 minutes away by car, in the medieval village of St Gengoux). We have therefore provided some basic provisions for your arrival (breakfast, pasta, rice, sauce, herbal tea from the garden ....) Out of respect for biodiversity and sustainable development, some details may surprise you: - It's the countryside: household waste is only collected every two weeks. We therefore ask you to sort your packaging (glass / paper-plastic) in the containers provided on site. - All green waste is to be put on the compost (peelings, leaves, fruits, ...) - Grass can sometimes gain on the paths: without weedkiller, it is difficult to contain it! But we prefer to talk about "wild herbs" rather than "nasty weeds"(but that sounds better in french ;-) ! - the household linen is clean (of course !!!) but not ironed. It usually dries in the open air.
