A 2 storey cottage, one of a pair, tucked away in the North York Moors National Park, right beside Levisham Station. Fully equipped, the cottage features an open plan living area with log fire, adjoining kitchen, spaceous en-suite bedroom, a private terrace and shared garden. Walks & cycle routes start at the door with wooded glades and expansive open moorland including stunning views. Railway enthusiasts can enjoy the seasonal NYMR steam services between Pickering & Whitby. The space See, hear and smell the Steam Trains as they pull into Levisham Station and stand blowing off steam before pulling out on their way south to Pickering or north to Goathland, Grosmont and Whitby. Grab your camera, head for platform every time you hear a train whistle to capture a photography. For the door of the cottage there are walks in every directions, why not head for a hidden secret seats in the woods for great views of the valley and railway. Guest access The cottage features its own private terrace with table, seating and Weber barbecue as part of a shared garden. A laundry with washer & dryer is available as well as a large freezer. A separate gated driveway & parking is provided. Other things to note Our cottages are more than 'Dog Friendly'... we are 'Dog Welcoming'! One medium, or two small well-behaved dogs will thoroughly enjoy the wide open spaces of the moors as well as woodland trails & tranquil meadows. We are offering only stays of 7 nights or more via this Airbnb portal but we may be able to accommodate your differing requirements.
