The Conker Store - hideaway near Bath and Priston

A converted coach house which has been recently extended and refitted. The Conker Store has a private patio, wood burner (October - March) and parking. Both bedrooms have flexible sleeping arrangements - super king size beds / 2 singles. One bedroom can be arranged with just a single bed leaving space for home working (or cot). Excellent pub with restaurant in village and walks on your doorstep. 5 minutes drive to the Bath 'park and ride' and 10 mins drive from the wedding venue - Priston Mill. The space The Conker Store provides beautifully presented, spacious, flexible accommodation for 4 guests. The cottage has high ceilings and is modern and bright whilst retaining original stonework. The views are over beautiful farmland - lots of wildlife. Enter through a stable door into a stylish hanging space with plenty of room for boots and coats. Then into the large entrance hall with dining area (large farmhouse table with gorgeous picture window and window seat). This room has a ladder to a mezzanine level which can be used to pop your bags out of the way or teenagers might like to hang out reading or chatting. The ladder has a safety cover which we can attach when younger guests are visiting. Through an arch to the living area which has bifold doors onto the private, sunny patio area (benches and dining table with chairs). There is a fully fitted kitchen and wood burner (October - March) with sofa and soft seating. There is also a small table for breakfast coffee or some lap-top time with views over the field through the bifold doors. At the back of the cottage is a pretty bedroom with ensuite. The ensuite has a walk-in shower. The other bedroom is at the front of the cottage and has the bathroom next door (both accessed from the entrance hall) The bathroom has a bath with shower over. Both bedrooms can be arranged as a super kingsize bed or 2 singles. the front bedroom has the option to be 1 single bed leaving room for homeworking or a cot. Other things to note To enjoy this holiday cottage you need to have a car to be able to reach the sights easily. With welly boots you can cross the field to the pub and go on many other country walks straight from your door. Please note - we only accept guests who do not smoke or vape.
