Historic Guest House
Description
This unique and private guest house is located on 16 acres with the main house. It is not unusual to see deer and turkey, and is easy to forget that there are multiple attractions just beyond its boundaries. Originally built as a 1-room log cabin in 1836, it has been painstakingly restored and expanded. With a great room boasting many board games, bumper pool table, and a TV, it is an ideal place for a relaxing get away. And we can't forget the full kitchen! The space This home originally started as a one room log cabin with a fireplace providing the only heat and light to the space. The original log cabin has since been updated, but still shows signs of its age. The home has been added onto since then. An additional bedroom and storage room were added in the late 1800s and then a great room, kitchen, additional bedroom, and bathroom were added in the 1940s. It is a very unique home with a very unique layout. Guest access You will be able to use the entire guest house (three bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, and great room). Although it is attached to the main house, it has its own entrances and is separated from the other house by a screened in porch.
