La Capitana's location is exceptional, one minute from downtown Llanes and its urban beaches, and very close to the rest of the attractions on the eastern coast of Asturias, where more than 40 beaches are concentrated in less than 30km of coastline. El Cueto Bajo is an emblematic neighborhood of Llanes, which stands out for its beautiful cobblestone streets and for being located a few meters from the river path that runs along the Carrocedo River. This path has received many awards in recent years, as it is a very relaxing walk with the sound of water, the shaded areas in fairytale corners offered by the numerous trees along the way, and the tranquility of walking near the river overlooking the Sierra del Cuera. As for the interior layout, La Capitana offers two floors. On the lower floor, as soon as you enter, you will find a kitchen on the left with full kitchenware (dishwasher, oven, washing machine, microwave, etc.), on the right-hand side, there is a reading room and a bathroom, which precede a large living room with a dining table for 8 people, a TV, and exit to the garden, as the icing on the first floor. The garden has several sun loungers for outdoor lounging and a large space for the little ones to play. It's the jewel of La Capitana. The upper floor, with ceramic and wood floors, large closets, mirrors in all rooms and a sober and simple decoration, has 4 spacious rooms where up to 8 people can stay. The top floor also has a bathroom. La Capitana has WiFi and heating, easy access and proximity to any type of shopping that is needed. The surroundings of La Capitana are endless, from the Cantabrian Sea that we can see walking 5 minutes from the house's entrance; to the Picos de Europa that we have just over half an hour away by car. For mountain enthusiasts, Sierra del Cuera has numerous routes for all kinds of skills. For sea lovers, in addition to beautiful trails bordering the coast, there are more than 40 beaches of all kinds, from the smallest in the world such as Gulpiyuri, passing through the urban beaches of downtown Llanes, and reaching fairytale corners such as Cuevas del Mar, Torimbia or La Huelga beach. Rock art is of great importance, represented in the caves of Tito Bustillo, Pindal, Llonín, Buxu, and La Loja. If you prefer more movement, the offer of adventure activities is very extensive: descent of the Sella or Cares river, canyoning, paintball, etc. Rural, marine, Indian, urban areas... All in a not very large area. Other things to note We can provide our customers with two parking spaces, in the vicinity of the house, upon request. The cost is 3 euros per day per space.
