Lakefront Cottage on Lake Thalon

Attention fishermen. Come fish on beautiful Lake Talon which is part of the Mattawa River system & the Ottawa River drainage basin. Fish for large- and smallmouth bass, muskie, walleye & lake trout. Come enjoy the spectacular sunsets on a private deck just steps from the beach & lake. This privately owned cottage sleeps up to 4 adults & 2 small children and includes all basic amenities. It is best suited to a family or mature adults. NOTE: this cottage is only accessible by water. The space IMPORTANT NOTE: This cottage is only accessible by water; therefore YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN BOAT. You can park your vehicle near a public boat launch/parking area. It is a short 10-minute boat ride to the cottage. Your host will meet you at the boat launch to guide you. LATEST CHECK-IN TIME: 3:00 pm Anyone renting this cottage would need their own boat. Talon Lake Campground and Marina is conveniently located next to the public boat ramp/parking area and they rent boats with motors, a pontoon boat or canoes. They also provide a water-taxi or barging service if needed. Arrangements would need to be made in advance. This cottage is part of a family camp with 10 other cottages on the same property. The other cottages often have occupants, many of them seniors. For that reason, the rental is best suited to small families or mature adults. MAXIMUM 4 persons over 12 years of age, and 2 small children under 12. The loft bedroom has low ceiling height with 2 twin mattresses on the floor, so is generally only suitable for small children. The 2 bedrooms on the main floor both have queen beds. Rate $150/night Guest access Beautiful sandy beaches and clean swimming areas. The camp has many large pine trees offering lots of shade.
