We’re Aussie born & bred, have lived with wildlife for years, and care for this land by rehabilitating wildlife and keeping our property self-sustainable and modern. The space ROLAND STONE is a large cabin on 5 acres, on the side of Mount Roland (just off the main road to Cradle Mtn). Please DO NOT expect Ensuites & Walk-In Robes!! We See & Hear eagles, cockatoos, pademelons & more (Dusk & Dawn sounds like a Zoo!). Full Kitchen has electric oven, wood bakers oven (makes delicious pizza!), microwave, espresso machine. (outdoor bbq). A "Give & Take" pantry with condiments in case you forget something. You are welcome to our farm produce when avail. We provide your breakfast (Lactose free/soy milk avail). Please bring lunch & dinner provisions (bbqs/pizza cooking popular). Two common areas (lounge & gym). (Netflix, satellite tv, NBN WiFi). Washer & dryer for your personal washing. Plenty of carpark space. Bathroom is smallish but features bath & separate shower (toilet is separate). The cabin is late 70s built, converted for modern, relaxed living. Guest access Enjoy our farmlet! You are free to explore (any private areas are clearly identifiable) and we welcome you to enjoy the experience (bear in mind this is a working farm - common sense prevails). Some points to note: - The house is on stilts with 4 steps on each external entry. - Automated outdoor lighting and monitored security in the carpark and surrounds - you don't have to fumble around in the dark. - Firepit areas (sit back and enjoy the view of the spectacular mountain top, watch the sun disappear over the hills or experience the wildlife at night) - Two common rooms with televisions - lounge and gym. You are welcome to use the gym equipment (at your own risk). - Wood, gas and electric heating, electric cooling system. - Lots of outdoor living areas - Ample bench space (if you want to setup your laptop etc) with USB charge stations. - A great, friendly stop for the travel weary to revitalise, with room to park an RV or two if required. - Our animals are friendly attention seekers and you can feed the guineafowl and Elmo the miniature pony, or have a chat with Gobbles the turkey (he will respond if you talk to him). During your stay We are easy to approach and happy to chat but also happy to give you space. We want you to feel relaxed and enjoy Roland Stone for what it has to offer. There is enough room for us to barely cross paths if required. We are both self-employed and have plenty to occupy ourselves! We will provide you with a guestbook when you enter, and you will have keycode entry to come and go as you please.
