Guest suite, semi-private patio, and breathtaking view of Okanagan lake and Kelowna downtown. In quiet residential area, surrounded by nature and nature sounds. East facing mountain slope of West Kelowna Estates, makes it several degrees cooler then Kelowna, and breezy. Best suited for a couple or three adults (extra sofa bed) that enjoy serene and quiet, while immersing in local lifestyle through many near by activities that Okanagan offers. Kitchennete allows only basic meal preparation. The space The 1 bedroom suite has stunning view of the Okanagan lake that changes daily and throughout seasons. You can enjoy beautiful sunrise from the bed while listening bird chirping. The suite is cool during hot summer and in winter has its own gas heater that resemble the fire burning stove. The semi-private patio (does not have totall privacy) is large and along the suite with adjecent grass patch and under canopy of large magnolia tree providing shade. There is outdoor table with four chairs under the tree and two Adirondack chairs so you can sit back and enjoy the view as you notice occasional eagle or hawks or eagles soaring above or deer or flock of California Quails passing by. The view at night is just as beautiful, if not more spectacular as you see city lights in distance or moonrises, hear owl callings and other nature sounds. There is kitchenette in the living room with large fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, teapot and cups, coffee making machine and necessary plates , cups, bowls and cutlery. it offeres opportunity for simple meal preparation only since there is no kitchen sink or stove. There is TV with netflix, amazon prime and youtube and treaming option. There is no laundry in the suite. There is a sofa that can turn into a twin size sofa bed with 3" memory foam mattress for a third person. We live upstairs and can assist you with any questions or queries you may have . Guest access You get to our place via several routes. Once you arrive there is somewhat steep driveway which are common in this part of the town. Hey , how you would get such a view? The driveway leads to a large, easy to manouver, parking space on your left. If you are uncomfortable with the slope and parking you can park for free on the street and use block stairs that lead to the suite (great daily exercise :) . Some operators of large vehicles such as large SUVs or Pick up trucks may find it challenging to manouver in parking lot, but its possible. Once in the parking lot, go up stairs and walk along the patio to the left side of the house and get into the suite through the door on the left that has key pad lock. We will provide PIN number day before your arrival. Other things to note We will send you prior to your arrival more detailed information on a few things that may be useful to know and to make your stay as pleasant as it can be. We would like if guests can check in on the first day before 10 pm, ideally during daylight. This is to make sure that everything is OK and functioning on your arrival. As the area is residential and not lighted it is good that you come before the dark to get familiar with the place and the slope, parking and entrance.
