There are free ranging small animals and amazing birdlife. Parking for your car is on the sidewalk outside the fence and the area has good security. We are one of few that offer a swimming pool in our area. I am a local area specialist and can offer a number of tourism experiences for my guest, by arrangement. I understand that many visitors from overseas may need to wash clothes. I can do this for you at a basic cost. No ironing service. Washing line at the back of the house. The outdoor garden and space is large and shaded by trees. It is private and quiet. At night you can SEE THE STARS. There is a view of the beach and the golden/yellow sunset from your space. We are fully fenced in and you will be given a key to the gate. Cups, bowls, plates, wineglasses and cutlery provided. Cooking on microwave oven. Kettle, toaster, mini-fridge. Guest access EXCLUSIVE USE. You will have the use of the pool level of the house, which includes an outdoor entertainment/barbecue area. You may have to share the barbecue area with members of the household or other guests, but most of the time it will be open for your use. ROOM AND BATHROOM. I suggest you keep your valuable inside the bedroom and lock the inter- leading door when you go out. Your room is private and cool in summer. There is an outdoor-access bathroom, which is small, but has both a toilet and a good hot shower. The dish-washing basin is outside. That is a bit like camping, only better. I suggest you keep your valuables inside the bedroom although this is a CRIME-FREE area. WATER. The quality of our tap drinking water is excellent. See the photos for more info. During your stay As your host, I work from the premises and will be available personally during most daylight hours or after hours if an emergency. Just ask me or my partner. Other things to note - Nature beckons, as does Cape Town's LEGENDARY SUMMER and SECRET SEASON. Noordhoek is a lovely environmental green area right up against the boundary of the Table Mountain National Park. - My place offers incredible possibilities for people who want to explore nature and do outdoor things. I am available to help you with advice or you can book me as a guide. - Another feature is our bird life - a fantastic range of African birds plus a few exotic visitors! - Please note we are NON-SMOKING on the whole property.
