The charming vacation home/chalet is located on the Axalp ob Brienz at 1554 meters above sea level. (Converted "donkey stable" in 2007). For a maximum of 4 people (including children and babies!). The space The furnishings are rustic yet modern. Basement with underfloor heating and Swedish stove, open, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, cheese fondue and Chinoise equipment, raclette oven, toaster, filter coffee maker, kettle, blender, etc.), day toilet, sitting area with TV, radio, family games, toys, mini library. Free Wi-Fi. Upper floor: Two bedrooms with two beds each, shower / toilet. Special: Children's equipment is available free of charge! Crib with pillow and duvet (travel crib), bed rail for large bed, high chair with table, playpen with pillow, baby crib, potty, barrier gate on stairs, night light, children's dishes... Guest access In spring, summer and fall, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings on two seats (east and north). Table with chairs, 4 sun loungers and an electric grill are available. In winter, it's a few steps to the slopes! Other things to note The Axalp is located above Brienz BE at 1554 meters above sea level and in approx. 25 minutes by car on a mountain road (with PostBus traffic). You are located in the mountains and a winter onset in autumn or spring is nothing special. Winter tires are therefore highly recommended and mandatory in winter! In the low season, it is particularly quiet on the Axalp and the small shop is partially closed. The bus only runs 3 times a day. In Brienz there is a post office/bank/shopping. In summer, parking is right by the house. In winter or when there is snow, a parking space will be provided. In this case, we will assist you with transporting luggage upon arrival and departure. Travel times approx.: Axalp-Brienz: 25 min. Axalp-Interlaken: 40 min. Axalp-Grindelwald: 60 min. Axalp-Lucerne: 80 min. Axalp-Bern: 80 min. Tip: Shop in Brienz and take all the food with you so that you have everything you need! The nearest restaurant is approx. 15 minutes' drive on Axalpstrasse (Restaurant Bramisegg, book early!)
