Less than 10 minutes walk from Moseley Village station, taking you to the city centre in 12 minutes, our lovely Edwardian home sits in a quiet conservation area. Our beautiful double-aspect studio room (18m2) has been refurbished to a high standard and is very private. It has a king-size bed and an extra mattress on request. You'll have a great ensuite, a kitchenette, a TV and fast Wi-fi. Central Moseley and an M&S are nearby. There is free on-street parking. Charge your EV here (extra charge). The space We are located in one of the nicest roads in Moseley but also have easy access to Birmingham City Centre, University of Birmingham, as well as to other major venues such as Edgbaston cricket and the NEC. Our beautiful Edwardian home is full of character, but updated and modern in all its conveniences. The studio is on the top (second) floor and has been completely refurbished (completed in 2018, redecorated 2026) and been highly insulated with environmentally-friendly natural materials. It contains a king-size John Lewis bed, a small wardrobe with shelves and hangers, and a small extending table with two chairs for having meals at or for working from home. Dimmable lighting and a high ceiling add a touch of luxury. You have exclusive use of a gorgeous ensuite/wetroom, with a large walk-in shower, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. There is an illuminated mirror. Also within the room there is a well-equipped kitchenette for your use, with solid surface worktop, kettle, tea & coffee making facilities, sink, full-size fridge with freezer compartment, microwave with integral grill, cutlery, crockery and utensils. There is a Smart TV in your room, with an HDMI socket (bring your cable to connect your device). You'll have excellent WiFi and the TV has access to catch-up services like BBC i-Player, as well as Youtube. If you bring your account details you can watch Netflix too. Please note we do not provide breakfast, although we provide tea, filter and instant coffee, and milk and sugar. There is ample space to store and chill your own food items which can be easily bought nearby. The room is double aspect. The main window overlooks the front garden and tree-lined road, and there are two other windows overlooking the mature rear garden. All the windows have blackout blinds and you can open them for fresh air. The room is centrally heated but there is a supplementary heater and a fan for your extra comfort. Please note that the entire house is a fully non-smoking space. For your safety the house has linked, mains-operated smoke alarms on every floor. There is a carbon monoxide alarm in the room. The central heating system is modern. Guest access The main front door, hall and stairs accessing your room are shared with the family occupants of the house. Just inside the house front door is a seating area, ideal for waiting for a taxi. You'll get your own keys, so can come and go as you please. Access to the rear garden may be possible in summer by prior arrangement. We provide guests with an electronic key that gives access to the beautiful and safe Moseley Park and Pool. This is in central Moseley and is the venue for two music festivals annually. The rest of the time it is a perfect place for a stroll or picnic or to feed the ducks and fish. During your stay Although this is a family home, your space is your own and we respect your need for quiet and relaxation. If there is anything you require, just ask! We are usually on hand to help. Your room is on the top floor and the only other room on that floor is used mainly as a home office in office hours (it is not used as a bedroom), so your space is private and quiet. Other things to note The room is thoroughly cleaned between occupants and (of course) all the linen is changed. You are welcome to use our washing machine to refresh your laundry if you are travelling. A laundry drying rack is available on request.
