Cottage in Angarrack

Anneth lowen is a beautiful riverside holiday cottage in the heart of the village of Angarrack - home to the beautiful, historic Brunel viaduct - approx 1 mile from Hayle and its 3 miles of golden sands. This one-bedroom cottage is perfect for a couple wanting a break in the Cornish countryside or a spot of surfing nearby at glorious Gwithian or beyond. The cottage offers separation from neighbours providing a comfortable environment for you to stay. Great for remote working or pure relaxation. The space The cottage is recently renovated and beautifully decorated with modern, contemporary touches. The property is accessed over a small bridge and onto an off-road gravel driveway where there is room for two small cars. Entering through the front garden you come into a large bright and airy dining room and lounge, with French doors leading onto the tranquil outside space, where you can enjoy a cold one under the stars. If you prefer to be inside, sit back and watch TV in front of the wood burning stove for those cosy nights in. The property in detail consists of an open plan living/dining room with dining table, three-seater sofa and chair. There is a 43” 4k smart TV with freeview channels and wifi. You are welcome to use your own Netflix account (remember to sign out!) There is a storage cupboard for coats and laundry items. The kitchen is off the lounge with all amenities including washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker and storage cupboards. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided, as are essentials such as salt/pepper, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and dishcloths and tea towels. There is lots of crockery and glasses as well as cookware and pots/pans. There is an outside back area for drying your washing. Upstairs there is a spacious contemporary bathroom with walk in shower, heated towel rail and loads of storage. Bed linen, towels and beach towels are provided . Please be careful of the height of the step going into the bathroom. It’s slightly bigger than usual so may be a surprise. The bedroom is a bright room with some countryside and viaduct views. There is a standard double bed, wardrobe with hangers, storage drawers and chest of drawers. Around the property you will find some great local artwork and interesting reading about the local area. There is a ‘Lavazza A MODO MIO’ coffee maker for your use. We supply a couple of capsules, however you will need to bring additional capsules with you. Guest access Guests have sole unrestricted access to the entire property during their stay. Early drop off of luggage is available on request. Other things to note We do not allow EV charging at the cottage, unless by prior agreement. The closest place is Shell Hayle. Additional costs will be charged for pre arranged vehicle charging - please contact us if you need this. Please be aware that the stairs at the cottage are narrow so may not be great for those with disabilities. Angarrack Christmas Lights - The cottage is located near ‘Angarrack Christmas Central’ and as a result, the Christmas and New Year period can be busy with people.
