You’ll love our place because you have the whole house to yourself, it's in a family friendly neighborhood, it's quiet, and it's completely furnished. It's within a fast (interstate) 30 min. to many major places and events, such as Auburn Football (only 20 min. from park and ride at Tiger Town) and East Alabama Medical Center. Families and friend groups welcomed. Lanett is a twin city with West Point, Georgia, which is home to Point University. This is an excellent house for family in town visiting students. This house is unique because we don't live there, so you are better able to make yourself at home. This house belonged to our sweet Aunt Rose, a precious little Japanese lady who married Uncle Charles after WWII. She loved to garden, so the area around the patio is full of Taro, a Japanese root plant kin to the elephant ear, and Shiso, a Japanese herb in the mint family. The whole house is available for you to use. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and serve a meal, including an icemaker, dishwasher, and microwave. The bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, and a hair dryer. The washer and dryer are available for your use, as well as laundry soap, dryer sheets, and a clothes line in the garage and in the back yard. We do not live at this location, but about 15 minutes away. We will be available to help you if you need it. You can call us with any questions or problems, including directions and information about the area. We want you to make yourself at home. The neighborhood is a nice, quiet family neighborhood. The house is located in a cul-de-sac, and it is a pleasant place to take a walk. The neighbor next door is Dot, and she is a sweet great grandmother that always looks in on us. You will love her if she comes by! This house is minutes from Point University in West Point, Georgia. It is about 10 minutes from the interstate, which leads to many area attractions and facilities. There is a notebook at the house with detailed information about nearby places, maps, and travel times. There is internet, but no cable television. Check in and out times may be flexible.
