Description
This sweet Victorian cottage built in 1882 is mere blocks from main street shops and restaurants, the Powder River trail, and local parks. It is filled with original charm and authentic details from days gone by. Relax in the parlor by the cozy wood stove and listen to records or snuggle up on the couch to watch movies after skiing at nearby Anthony Lakes or exploring town. You will have the entire cottage to yourself to enjoy the authentic experience of visiting Baker City. The space This house is over 130 years old and still has much of its original features from hardware/knobs, floors, molding, etc. It is so rare to find a house that hasn't been "redone" and gutted to more modern standards. Staying here makes you feel like you have literally stepped back in time to when Baker City was first beginning as the booming mining town it originated from. We have a brand new cozy memory foam queen mattress with a heated pad to keep warm on the chilly nights. Guest access You will have access to the entire property except the attic and basement. Other things to note - Please park in the back parking spot as the lockbox is on the back door. - Do not use the door in the living room/parlor. Use the dining room and back door only please
