Direct access to the river, private beach and docks are its main features. Within the Ticino Park, it is a starting point for discovering Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, the Ossola and Formazza Valleys. A few kilometers from Arona and Angera, it is easily accessible from Malpensa and the main highway junctions. Other things to note Sesto Calende with numerous bars and restaurants, the bike path to Milan and the Leonardo Training Academy is 2 km away. A little further on, still on the Lombard shore, is Angera with the Borromean Fortress, the doll museum and the splendid Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso. Staying on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore, you will find Arona, a lively town with a rich historic center and a pleasant lake promenade. Birthplace of San Carlo Borromeo, commemorated by a monumental bronze statue from which you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the entire Lake Maggiore. Leaving Arona, you arrive at the Parco dei Lagoni, a site of archaeological and naturalistic interest, excellent for walking, cycling or horseback riding. A pleasant scenic road allows you to reach Meina, Lesa, Belgirate, Stesa, Baveno, Feriolo and FondoToce. A very pleasant boat or boat ride to the Borromean Islands and a visit to the Pallavicini and Taranto villas with an animal park and well-kept gardens.
