Cottage in Silver Plume

Perched in the Historic and timeless town of Silver Plume. One is just feet from friendly hiking trails that take you to spectacular views of this Historic Silver mining country. The home is 50 miles west of Denver and a 12 minute drive (10 miles) to Loveland Ski Area, 30 minutes to Summit County with more skiing. This is great for a weekend getaway. Silver Plume is a Historic Victorian mining village, with an elevation is 9100 feet above sea level. The cottage was built in the 1860's. The space Our house was built by immigrants in the 1860's. The furnishings are eclectic Victorian. The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. There are dishes for your use, please run them through the dishwasher before you check out. A walk around porch overlooks the town and valley. As well there is a sitting area behind the house surrounded by a hand built rock wall. A gas barbecue available. The house has a southern exposure, so even in the winter it is very pleasant. Guest access We want our guests to feel comfortable in our home when you are away from home. It is full of our many treasures. Our home is pet free. Also there is no smoking or vaping of any kind allowed. Ski boots are fine in the house and skis and snowboards can be locked up in the storage area behind the house. In the winter the parking maybe on Main Street (depending on snow conditions) 50 yards away. There is parking at the back of house. The roads in town may be snow packed in winter. The house faces south, so it receives lots of sunshine. Other things to note The washer and dryer are small capacity. Supplies are available in cupboard under stairs in bathroom.
