Gowanlea is situated on the waterfront in Kilchattan Bay, Isle of Bute with stunning sea views. The village of Kilchattan Bay is 15 minutes drive from the main town of Rothesay, a perfect Scottish Island rural getaway. This is a very quiet village which offers beautiful landscapes and scenery, alongside the abundance of wildlife and walks it has to offer. The village also has it's own small tearoom as you come in to the village and a bar/ restaurant 1/2 a mile away. The space Accommodation offers 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining room and lounge all on ground level. Private gardens to front and side of property, with small patio to the rear. Please remember the pathway is shared with neighbour upstairs and must be kept clear at all times. Upon arrival there will be a welcome pack which includes, tea, coffee, sugar and extra toilet rolls. Dishwasher tablets, washing machine detergent, black bags and cleaning materials are supplied in kitchen. There is a log burner in the front lounge with views facing onto the sea. Please request [in advance] a fire starter pack which we source from the local saw mill at a cost, if required. You will find a large private garden to the front and side of the property. There is a newly fitted kitchen offering electric cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and fridge freezer. Newly fitted 3 piece bathroom with electric shower. The master bedroom compromises of a double bed and wardrobe. The second bedroom has two single beds, bedside table and shelving unit. There is a separate dining room with table and chairs and TV. The lounge has a log burner and a three piece sofa and chairs, TV and DVD player. Flexible check-in offered with lockbox for key. Pets welcome (Max 2 dogs). There will be an additional £10 cleaning fee added to your booking for pets. All linen and bedding provided. Professionally cleaned.
