Charming 1883 mission style farmhouse/Manor with 3 private rooms and a Guest House from the 1990's with 5 private rooms. This B&B is peacefully located in the country on 10 acres, yet only 4 miles from downtown Lexington. Total of 10 beds sleep 17 which is the maximum number of people this facility can accommodate. Please do not reserve if you have more people than this. The Shenandoah Manor Bed & Breakfast is an "art-inspired" B&B from the original paintings of the host to the decorative quilts on the beds. Each room is private with a full private bathroom (some with jacuzzi tubs). The grounds provide rest & relaxation in a peaceful nature setting with many beautiful views to enjoy - the bubbling creek, the pond with the fountain and fish, the gazebo area overlooking the pond, the old hand-hewn log barn, etc. There are many balconies and porches and places over the grounds to sit, read and/or relax. In the evening gather around the fire pit to visit and roast marshmallows. In the Guest House you will have access to a kitchenette, tv area and laundry facilities (extra fee). In the Manor House you will have access to the common living area as well as a tv/library room. There are also many outdoor spaces - covered porch on the Guesthouse and a great courtyard space. Gather in the evening around the fire pit to roast marshmallows or just "hang-out". We are available when needed; but you are here for a get-away; we will give you that space. We want you to feel like you are able to enjoy the grounds/house without us hanging around. The property is peacefully located out in the country on 10 acres nestled in the foothills, yet it is only less than four miles to downtown Lexington. No public transit, but a local taxi is available if necessary. This price includes all 8 bedrooms of both the Manor House and the Guest House. Price includes breakfast. Airbnb will collect the required taxes. MUST reserve for a minimum of two nights.
