It is a house with a wooden floor like a nostalgic wooden school building It is located in the highest altitude village in Shimokitayama Village, called Ikemine. It is in Yoshino-Kumano National Park. Myojin Pond and the mysterious pond shrine that is its deity are a 5-minute walk away. There is also a village golf course (half) nearby, where you can enjoy golfing from early in the morning. There is a natural hot spring facility and a restaurant a few minutes away by car. You can fish in the river in the village (you need a fishing ticket). It is also a base for sea fishing in 40 minutes to the Kumano Sea. It is also used for mountain climbing such as Shaka Ga-dake and Odaidai, and for Shugendo. It is also conveniently located for the Kumano Kodo, Kumano Sanzan tour, etc. The space The front door is set to open with a PIN code. Don't worry, it is unlocked at check-in time. It will be closed at night. If you are going out during the day, we will show you how to open and close the door. The floors (excluding bedroom 3 and the Japanese-style room), ceilings, walls, and even the beds are all made of domestic cedar and cypress. In the Japanese-style room, you can also sleep on a futon on the floor (2 people). All 3 rooms are private and can be locked from both inside and outside. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately, there are only stairs. Cedar bunk beds (single beds and bunk beds in bedroom 1 only) with tatami beds. Beds are made (you do not need to make your own beds). In winter, there are sheets under the futons, and you sleep between the two sheets. Guest access The toilets on the 1st and 2nd floors, the bath on the 1st floor, and the washroom are shared Please feel free to relax in the lobby in the atrium on the 1st floor There is a microwave, toaster, basic cutlery and dishes, kettle, and instant drinks on the counter. Please feel free to use them. Please note that the kitchen is a restaurant, so it is not available for use. There is a refrigerator in each room. Please note that the toilet on the 2nd floor is exclusively for guests, but the toilet and washroom on the 1st floor are also used by the host. There is a Kawai grand piano. Please play it freely There is a microphone and an amplifier. There is also a cable, so you can do karaoke with apps such as Pokara. You don't have to worry about noise All rooms are non-smoking. Please smoke on the porch outside. Ashtrays are provided, so please do not throw them in the trash cans in the room or lobby, or in empty cans. Please eat in the dining room or lobby. In summer, there is a BBQ area in the backyard. There is also a BBQ stove, so please use it. Please bring all charcoal, ingredients, and dishes. Please take all garbage except for the extinguished charcoal with you or purchase a designated garbage bag. We only allow drinks that can be capped in the room. There is an open-air bath. We built a sauna in 2022. During your stay We can also prepare breakfast or both breakfast and dinner for early reservations (consultation required). We can also prepare bento boxes in the early morning (consultation required) There is a microwave, toaster, pot, dishes and cutlery on the counter, so you can use them freely in the morning, afternoon and evening There are 3 types of garbage: "burnable garbage", "cans" and "bottles". Please take home other non-combustible garbage, large items, cardboard, magazines, etc. In winter, there are days when the wood stove is lit, but guests cannot light the wood stove Sauna & open-air baths are available with early reservations. The heat source is a wood-burning stove. We will keep it warm enough, but please add wood and lower the temperature yourself. For safety reasons, it cannot be used on windy days. Also, it cannot be used by one person. Guests staying at the hotel will also be charged ¥1,500 per person for 90 minutes. Bath towels, robes, and sauna hats are available (for a fee). Please use basic swimwear. Hosts are not at home during the day on weekdays.
