Beautiful Private cottage secluded in Snowdonia mountains, by Barmouth, Dyffryn town, miles of sandy blue flag beaches. Miles of walks, biking, local horse riding and local history for those more adventurous then back to the serenity of our little cottage with views from each front window. Dogs welcome (charges apply). The space Hendre Fechan Cottage is a 1616 century cottage built from traditional Welsh stone, the Welsh Tourist Board has graded it as 4 stars. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside, sea views and old buildings found at the end of traditional private farm lane. Based in Tal-y-Bont, we have been welcoming guests since March 2010. This beautiful cottage is half a mile from the main road and is situated on an equestrian property in the beautiful countryside of Snowdonia National Park. We are four miles from the seaside town of Barmouth and 1 mile from the small country town of Tal-y-Bont. It is a mile from the beautiful sandy Beaches, which you can view from the front room, kitchen, bedroom and garden. The area is perfect for walking holidays with miles of footpaths starting from your front door into the surrounding hills and countryside. If you have dogs they will love it!! There is plenty of fishing in the area, fresh water and sea water. A cycling track at the bottom of our lane straight into Barmouth and Tal-y-Bont, for the more adventurous there are miles of Bridleways to take your bike for a proper spin. The whole property is centrally heated with no additional charge for electricity or heating, which is included in the rental cost. Sky tv , washing machine, kitchen, shower bathroom, sea view from most rooms. Bedding, towels, dish cloths, bath mat, cleaning products are provided to keep you stay simple and easy to prepare for (apart from food), please feel free to call, text or email me if you need any information. If you bring a dog we do have a enclosed garden area for non escape artist pups. Please note that there is an additional charge for a dog is £25 any additional dogs are £20 each. Guest access The holiday cottage has its own enclosed garden and parking for up to two cars and is approximately 50 meters from the cottage. Please if you are unsteady on your feet, discuss access with me before you book. Other things to note We happily welcome well behaved pets, we charge a one off fee of £25 for a dog and the second dog is £20. This is towards wear and tear and our additional cleaners charge. Log fire; We supply a recycle box full of wood, paper and kindling which should do two fires. We can sell more wood and kindling, which we do at cost price. £10 per box including kindling and starter blocks. We live up a 1/2 mile farm track that is maintained by us, if you only want to drive on tarmac then this is not the cottage for you. Our family car is a Nissan Quashqai, my daughter drives a Ford Fiesta and my son has a BMW series four just to give you an idea, as long as you take your time and your car is not very low profile you car will be okay.
