“Lavender” Cosy private getaway cottage

After a 15 min drive from the Ljubljana-Maribor highway, you will find a quiet private cottage at the edge of the forest. A private and peaceful environment is perfect for relaxation and rest. The house main features are a big outdoor kitchen and homemade products made from homegrown produce. The space The bathroom. Nice cosy bathroom with shower and extra IR heater. In the bathroom you will find herbal Slovenian shower gel and hair gel. Bath and hand towels are provided. The cellar. This is a typical Slovenian cellar. Mostly it was used for wine production and storing, but now we are moving into direction of producing homegrown herbs. Currently it’s used for storing homemade products and homegrown produce. In it you will find lots of homemade apple juice, which every guest gets a bottle to take home or to drink when staying at the Lavender cottage. The kitchen. The same essence of the cottage is also obtained in the kitchen. Its build in a country/farm style and fully equiped with mostly handmade items. For convenience it has a small electric stove for some basic cooking, a sink with running hot and cold water and a fridge. We try to offer as much homemade and home grown products. That’s why we encourage all our guests to use a small tea corner where you can make your own tea from the herbs that were grown and harvested on the property. The outdoor kitchen and terrace. Are you a grill enthusiast? This is the perfect setup for you. You can try your skills of cooking the famous balkan Sač, making typical balkan and Slovenian food, or cooking up anything you like. All grilling utensils are provided. On the side of the property there is a small terrace that seats 6 people comfortably. The surrounding is planted with herbs and a kiwi plants that gives you some extra shade when enjoying quality time with your friends or family. The balcony. Next to the living area there is a big panoramic window that opens half way. On the other side there is a small balcony where you can enjoy a cup of coffee with the morning sunrise. Later in the day you can do some sunbathing or simply relax with a glass of homemade wine. The bedroom: On the top of the cottage (accessible by ladder stairs) you will find a private room with two beds put together. Additional bed is provided in the living area with fold out sofa. Bedding is included. The Lavender cottage can accommodate up to three adults or two adults and two children and is perfect for couples or small families.
