This three story home offers space, privacy, & calm. A wonderful location with a supermarket around the block, dozens of order-in options, nearby restaurants, coffee shops, & delis. 10 min walk to 3/4 trains. 13 min walk to A/C. The B15 bus (to JFK) stops at the end of the block. House is a 20-min subway ride to the Brooklyn Museum, Botanic Garden, & Prospect Park. 20 min by train to Barclay’s Center. 30 min by train to Manhattan. Longer stays are possible - please inquire if interested. The space Your bedroom is spacious and comfortable -190 sq foot bedroom with a high ceiling and ample closet space awaits you. The house also boasts a multiple common rooms (plus the eat-in kitchens), so there is ample public space to relax in. In the projector room, we have a Roku offering Hulu, Netflix, HBO Now, Starz, Disney + and Amazon Prime subscriptions, for when you feel like staying in. The dining room has a coat closet - feel free to leave your outer clothing and shoes in there, or in your bedroom. The dining room table seats seven, so there's always room to pull up a chair and have a meal. The library is small but mighty in the number of books it contains. It also has a comfy two-seater couch and adjustable lighting. On the garden level, the lounge has two couches and the lights can be accessed with bluetooth so they can be adjusted to the perfect intensity. Guest access There is a projector room, a dining room, a living room, a lounge and two kitchens (one upstairs and one downstairs). We request that you stick to the kitchen and bathroom on your floor for daily cooking/showering, but otherwise all rooms are available for your use. Guests in the upstairs bedroom (your bedroom) have use of the upstairs kitchen and bathroom. If your bathroom is occupied, please feel free to use one of the other two bathrooms. The kitchen has an eat-in nook that sits two. The garden level has a full laundry room, the lounge and room for bikes. Laundry room hours are in the house rules part of the listing. During your stay We’re happy to give you absolute privacy and plenty of space, or chat and help you plan your activities as you prefer. The cats are all varying degrees of friendly and will interact with you as they please. Other things to note This is a quiet house. We primarily host interns, working professionals, visiting professors, med students, and other people looking for a quiet place to stay. If you're looking for a stay longer than our maximum, please let us know! We love long-term guests, and can often accommodate a longer stay once we check our calendar.
