The prehistoric looking birds can sometimes be seen walking around the garden and also the streets and beach fronts of Flying fish point. There are many great walking tracks, along the beaches or following the dirt roads out to Ella Bay and beyond.. there are many beachy treasures to be found along the way. The flying fish point Cafe offer a magnificent array of food delights and are open for Breakfast lunch and Dinner, there is also a childrens play park straight accross the road right on the beach front for your convenience. Other things to note Innisfail itself has a great selection of cafes,clubs and gift shops for your convenience. The bowls club situated over looking the Johnston river has barefoot bowls and karioke on Friday nights - kids welcome. Cole's and Woolies closes at 7pm on weekends.
