Located 4 minutes walk away from one of the most beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka, the Villa offers an unparalleled combination of tranquility, ocean view, natural ambient and access to the beautiful beach. The space An inviting and relaxing place to enjoy your stay in Sri Lanka / Tangalle, Little Tamarind is a Boutique Villa, with 4 suites, a restaurant and unbeatable view. The place can comfortably accommodate 11 guest or even a bit more. It features a private balconies for each suite as well as a common patio / garden under the Tamarind tree. You will find yourself embraced with stunning views of the ocean, that of the coconut fringed coast, and that of nearby peninsulas, from each corner of the Villa. On any given occasion, you can observe monkeys playing in the Tamarind tree, local birds perched on surrounding trees, as well as parrots and bats flying in the night time, the clear skies make way for thousands of stars to shine bright right above you, while flickers of flying light from fireflies are all around right outside your terrace. The natural sea breeze, along with the terrazzo floors, cooling the rooms naturally. As such, there is no need for air-conditioning in the suites, but a there is ceiling fan that could be used, if needed, during warmer months. The Villa also features few places with outdoor sofas, couches to relax, stargaze, read a good book, or to simply meditate with the natural surroundings around you. The balconies are big enough to have a privet dinner for up to 4 people if you wish. Desks are also provided in the rooms, should one wish to do some work while staying. We offer free Internet access if there is a need to connect with the real [?] world... The showers are modern with hot and cold water. Guest access “Fresh” is our in-house restaurant in Little Tamarind, focus on fresh, local ingredients If you wish to have delicious meals prepared specially for you, our in-house chef will be more than happy to prepare scrumptious dishes. We source our fresh fruits and vegetables from the local Tangalle market while our fresh fish and seafood are sourced from the villages nearby. You are welcome to experience our fine dining, different cuisines all meals. If you wish to do some food shopping, the local supermarket is only 4 km away, which is about 7 minutes by Tuk-tuk. A large, weekly market also occurs at the town, where you can shop for mouth watering local fruit and vegetables and everything under the sun.
