Welcome to our clean, cozy Sea Forest Retreat, constructed in 2018. It is a studio space ideal and most comfortable for 2 but can sleep up to 4 people. Large windows and high vaulted ceilings make this small but modern house feel big. Enjoy the tranquility with nice outdoor seating areas nestled among greenery in a residential neighborhood. Manzanita and the beach are 1.5 miles and Nehalem 2 miles away. Dogs (2 dogs maximum) are welcome for a $45 fee. We have a small desk for remote work. The space !! We follow a thorough cleaning protocol and are making sure all frequently touched surfaces are disinfected between reservations!! This quiet house, located in a residential neighborhood, with high speed WIFI is ideal for a longer stay as a remote work alternative for one or two people (desk is adjustable to different heights). We welcome people of all backgrounds. Sea Forest Retreat is a cozy 354 sf with high vaulted ceilings and feels bigger than it is. There are three outdoor seating areas, one in the back of the house and two in front. The landscaping was completed in March of 2018 and the plants are in the process of growing larger. The house is conveniently located 1.5 miles away from downtown Manzanita and the beach. The neighborhood is residential with mostly retired people living there and friendly. We have a good relationship with our neighbors. You can hear the birds in the trees and the ocean from the distance. We have free high speed WiFi. Please bring your own devices to stream movies, listen to your favorite music and play games. We are providing a Bluetooth speaker. The space is convenient for working remotely as the house is quiet and the work desk can be adjusted to different seating or standing heights. Please bring your laptop, keyboard, mouse, etc.. Please note that coastal storms occasionally cause power or internet outages. We do NOT refund money if that happens. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and outdoor area. There is only one part of the entry way closet that is private. Otherwise everything is accessible. Free high speed WiFi access ideal for remote work and streaming movies on your own devices. Other things to note !! We follow a thorough cleaning protocol and are making sure all frequently touched surfaces are disinfected between reservations!! We welcome people with children. There are no stairs inside the house. There are 3 steps outside that lead from the back deck down to the back seating area. We have some toys, games and books for children. Beach towels are available in the wardrobe. We love well behaved dogs. Please know that the maximum number of dogs the house can accommodate is 2. Please let us know at the time of booking if you're planning on bringing your dog. Airbnb is now offering a pet fee option which you can select at the time of booking. We kindly request that you clean up after your dog and that you do not leave your dog unattended. Please note that NO open flames are permitted in or around the house. There's NO fire pit, No barbecue and smoking is NOT allowed. The reason for this is the high fire danger as the house is nestled in a treed neighborhood. Coastal winds sometimes cause power and internet outages. Please note that we do NOT pay any refunds for power or internet outages.
