In a peaceful, charming Devon hamlet, a converted bakery near to a 15th Century thatched cottage, with lovely views. The space The property is one large room and was last used as a bakery in the 1950s and still has much of the original bread oven. Recently converted with a modern shower room. Kitchenette with kettle, toaster and small refrigerator. Cooking facilities of microwave and fast, single induction hob. There is a very comfortable king size bed and a 4ft sofa bed for an adult or two small children. An optional cosy bunk bed (full length) above the old oven at the back of the Bakery can serve as an extra bed (as you can see on the website photos). Please let us know if you would like the sofa bed or bunk bed made up for you as well. Travel cot also available. Breakfast: Breakfast is provided for you in the Bakery for you to eat at your own leisure. This includes local free range eggs, bread, brioches, muesli and cereal, yoghurt, fruit and a selection of jams and honey. We also provide teas, coffee, milk and fruit juice. Use of washing machine, dryer and larger fridge/freezer in laundry outhouse. Guest access The Bakery is self-contained with its own access. It has its own terrace with chairs and table facing south over the view. We love our garden and hope that guests will enjoy wandering around it and the meadow. There are lots of private sitting areas with stunning views to be enjoyed with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Other things to note Check-Out: 11.00 am. Check-In: any time after 4.00pm £15 extra per child or extra adult after the first 2 people.
