The space On the west end of the island, where my house is located, the beach is a great place to enjoy the surf. Sunrises and sunsets are glorious. Enjoy your favorite beverage on the deck with a view of the ocean. The kitchen is fully equipped to create your favorite culinary delights. Shrimp and tamales, anyone? Go ahead ... My lovely West End house is located in the quaint Sea Isle subdivision on Galveston Island's West Beach and is situated within easy walking distance (2.5 blocks) from the beach, next to a bird sanctuary (great for birding), a marina with 2 private boat ramps on the bay side, private fishing and crabbing pier, kid's playground, tennis court, a bar and two restaurants – one casual and one fine dining. House amenities include a fully equiped kitchen, a flat screen Smart TV with AT&T cable, Netflix/Hulu connections and fast Wi-fi, 2 queen sized beds, IKEA sofa that opens to a queen sized bed in the living room, 2 full baths, windows in every room, and a connected downstairs garage with a washer and dryer. Sleeps 4-5 comfortably. Sea Isle has a beachside parking lot with a walkway over the dunes to get to the beach. Golf cart rentals are available from nearby vendors to cruise Sea Isle and ride to the beach. They will deliver and pick up the cart! If you're looking for the laid-back beach experience, then Sea Isle is the perfect place. It's a quiet, walkable neighborhood. Start your day with coffee on the front deck and enjoy the sunrise over the ocean or walk on the beach. Then, end your day in the same spot with a glass of wine, a cocktail, or your favorite beverage and enjoy the sea breezes. My favorite place to watch the sunset is at the end of the private fishing pier on the bay side of the neighborhood in the evenings. Surrounded by the waters of the West Bay – it's absolutely sublime. Guests who have stayed at my house have said it's like coming back to their own home at the end of each day. Read my guest reviews – they say it all! Guest access You have access to the full house and outside parking. It's a house rental (the owner is not on-site). The driveway is large enough for a boat or trailer plus your car or truck. You have access to the private community pool (Summer months: Memorial Day weekend through Sept.). The fee is $100 for up to 10 people for up to 7 days. The renter can purchase the pool pass directly from the Sea Isle HOA office, which is adjacent to the pool. Other things to note Secure your preferred dates now – before we're all booked up! I have many repeat guests who book early. You get a 20% discount when you book a whole week (7 days or more). 3-night minimum stay on reservations September thru May and a 4-night minimum stay May through August.
