Beach Cottage

The blue cottage is rented to up to 4 guests in two upstairs bedrooms. Due to proximity to the ocean the well is salt water. We provide as much drinking water as you need. The beach cottage has a kitchenette with toaster, hot plate, foreman grill, drip coffee machine and keurig, as well as hot water kettle. The bathroom, kitchenette, dining and living room are downstairs and wifi is high speed. There are about 10 steps to get to the upstaird bedrooms. There is a sunroom with access to the deck. The space The cottage is unique, because it is right on the beach and the harbour! You have the highest tide in the world right in front of your window, and two sun decks to bask in the sun, including deck furniture. The harbour is also one of the few active fishing harbours in Nova Scotia, catching lobster from May 15 - July 31. You can buy lobster fresh from local fishermen at the fishmarket. We provide wood for the fireplace in the blue cottage. Please burn beach wood on the beach for bond fires. The location is only 10km from Highway 101, Berwick. You can easily do day trips for whale watching , winery tours, Peggy’s Cove, Lunenburg, Chester and many more. The location always has a cool breeze, fans are provided as well. Due to the fresh salt air there are no mosquitos. The blue cottage has two bedrooms upstairs with a queen and double. It takes about ten stairs to get upstairs for all bedrooms. Guest access You have the whole house to yourself. You have access to the cottage via a lock box. The access code will be provided to you a few days before you arrive.
