Cottage by the sea in Hunnebostrand

Wonderful cottage by the sea - plenty of social space, secluded garden and walking distance to beach, restaurants and playground. 1st floor: a cute "cocktail veranda", fully equipped kitchen (seats 4), WC, dining room (easily seats 10), a tv room and a living room which opens up to an outdoor terrace with sea view (seats 6) and the garden (seats 8 +). 2nd floor: six bed rooms; 2 double and 4 single plus WC&shower. Guest beds and washer/dryer. Fishing, shopping, golf, tennis, padel etc nearby. The space This is our family summer house by the sea and therefore has an old-fashioned "seaside flair" decor. There is plenty of room for two families living here together with 2 doubles and 4 singles on the 2nd floor. Lots of social space and also extra space in the basement for sports gear, extra beds, washer/dryer. The house is built in the early 1900s and looks the part :-) Very cozy and cute. NB the steep staircase to the second floor for anyone who has trouble walking. Summertime, life is in the garden and by the water, only a few steps down the road. Plenty of cliffs, jettys and beaches to sunbath from, a lovely summer community with restaurants, shops and all kinds of sport access. Autumn is seafood season, a great time for fishing and/or cooking local lobster, crayfish, crab and fish (available from the local fish shop), playing board games and going for walks to pick berries and mushroom. Spring is equally wonderful for outdoor activities and nearby golf, tennis, padel, minigolf, sailing. Don't miss Lants Möbler - great for shopping design and furniture all year round. Guest access Peak season in July parking is tough but otherwise quite easy to find free nearby parking space. There is a play ground just around the corner, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Don't miss the spectacular sculpture park at Hästedalen. In the summer, there is yoga a few mornings/week at the Hästedalen beach. Other things to note We have not yet been able to find a cleaning company to take on the house, so therefore cleaning can not be included, (but working on it!) so proper cleaning needs to be done by yourselves. 2 vacuum cleaners, cleaning mop, cleaning material etc available in the basement. Please also put everything back as it was when you arrived - we often note furniture changing rooms etc, and are unfortunately not always around to put them back in the right place. Please make sure to bring sheets and duvet covers/pillow covers as well as towels for shower/bathing/WC/kitchen. We empty the place of all food items upon leaving so please do the same.
