Rural haven: Private & Spacious Cotswold Annex.

Escape to The Annex, a private getaway built in 2021 and nestled within the secure, tranquil grounds of our gated bungalow. Located in a serene rural hamlet between the idyllic villages of Chalford and Minchinhampton, you're perfectly positioned to explore the charm of the Cotswolds. Just 5 miles away is the vibrant town of Stroud, proudly voted the "Best Place to Live in the Sunday Times 2021". This stylish annex offers a contemporary living experience: The space The accommodation is accessed via its own private entrance and is arranged over two floors. Downstairs is an open plan spacious living/dinning area and fully equipped modern kitchen with access to a utility and shower room. The private garden is located via the kitchen through bi-folding doors onto a large decking area. Upstairs comprises of 1 bedroom with twin beds and an adjoining common space containing a king size bed with new firm mattress and storage space, the stairs enter this sleeping area and the twin bedroom is accessed off of this sleeping area also. Please note there is no door at the top of the stairs. 2 well behaved dogs welcome, all we ask is that the dogs where possible do not go upstairs and are not left in the property alone unless caged and that if pets like to join you on the sofa or bed that you bring a cover for them. We can accept a family of 5 if the youngest child is a baby and is able to sleep in a travel cot. Please advise the age of children on booking and whether you require the travel cot and high chair. We have no EV charging available onsite and do not allow charging via standard electric cable plug. Guest access Private secure parking is available at the property which is accessed through electric gates. On the driveway is a box selling Free Range Eggs from our own chickens. The annex and it’s garden is private to you during your stay. Other things to note The property is located on the edge of an old airfield built in World War One to house the Australian flying corps, it is now home to the Cotswold gliding club where most days gliders can be seen silently gliding overhead.
