This tiny cabin is surrounded by trees, trees and more trees! Soak in the claw foot tub while gazing out at a redwood forest or take a steamy outdoor shower built into an old redwood stump! The bottom floor of the cabin has a small sleeper sofa, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker (not a full kitchen). The bed is in a loft space on the second floor up a steep ladder and there is efficient heating. The fire pit can be used in low fire season only. Dog on property, please be pet friendly. Guests will have private access to this cabin in the woods located about 100 ft from the Main House. Feel free to hike the trails behind the cabin or forage for mushrooms down the ravine. *The sleeping space is up a narrow and steep ladder. But the bottom floor also has a sleeper sofa if ladder is too tricky. Coffee/sugar and filtered water are provided. Water comes from our well which pumps fresh raw water! It’s delicious! During the warmer months the tiny cabin may share garden space (30 ft away) with a glamping tent. Glampers have their own bathroom but will have access to the outdoor shower. The cabin has private entrance and access to woodsy trails. Always available by text to answer questions or provide suggestions. We are 4 miles to the beautiful Mendocino coast and 12 miles to Mendocino. It is possible to spend days in the country, in the forest or on the coast in this location. You must have a car to get to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Wildlife is abundant in the area. Deer and birds visit the property often as well as the occasional California black bear! Wild fires are also a threat. Please ask hosts before using the fire pit and we will assess based on weather conditions. *In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are asking any visitors who feel unwell or who have symptoms to please stay at home.
