Wooden chalet, private spa and paddleboard
Wooden chalet, private spa and paddleboard
Description
Just 1.5 hours from Montreal, enjoy a rustic and welcoming chalet on a large 200,000 sq. ft. wooded lot. Relax in the hot tub, sleep in the cozy atmosphere of the mezzanine (3 double beds), paddle board* on the Mastigiuche River, and enjoy the fresh water from a natural spring. A real little slice of heaven to recharge your batteries in the heart of nature! * Two inflatable paddle boards are available at the chalet. The departure point is at the marina (15 minutes by car). The space You should know that it is a real rustic chalet, fully equipped: electricity, Wi-Fi (no cellular network), baseboard heating and wood-burning fireplace for a cozy atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to get away from all the luxury we have at home: Water for everyday use comes from a rainwater harvesting system, and drinking water comes from a natural source (you should know that a few simple actions are necessary to heat the shower water). In winter, the water comes only from the spring, and you will have a water reserve that I will have provided depending on the length of your stay. You will be minutes away from the Mastigouche Wildlife Reserve, 5 minutes from the chalet, as well as the trails of the Parc des Chutes du Calvaire, perfect for a short hike. In Mandeville, enjoy access to the water from the marina and its paddleboard inflation station (12 minutes from the chalet). In Saint-Damien, the Blue Route offers beautiful walks on the water, (20 minutes from the chalet). There are also the heart-shaped lake trails near the village of Mandeville that are superb. I also suggest a little stop at the Saint-Gabriel vineyard, which is simply magnificent. Also note that the Natureau spa is a minute from the chalet, why not take the opportunity to pamper yourself in a beautiful setting. In short, an authentic place to recharge your batteries in the heart of nature! Guest access Guests have access to everything. Other things to note There is no closed bedroom: the 4 double beds are in an open area on the mezzanine. From November to March, during the cold weather (below -15°C), the wood fireplace is essential, because the auxiliary heating is not enough. Wood is provided, but you must be able to make a fire. It's a unique experience, as close to nature as possible! Registration Details Quebec - Registration number 305442, expires: 2026-08-31
