Our Woodpecker's Shepherd's Hut is situated on the coastline & the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Between Scarborough & Whitby. Driving to either is a breeze, Scarborough being about a 15mins drive away & Whitby about the same. Our site is situated about a 2min walk away from the old Scarborough to Whitby railway ( Also known locally as the cinder track ) a walker & bike friendly trail. The cleveland way is also a short walk away. Adults only The space Delightful Shepherds hut with great countryside views. ( 4 steps up to hut ) Small kitchenette ( sink, hot water, kettle, toaster, hot plate, small mini cooler, cutlery set, plate set, cups & glasses ) Comfy Double bed. ( Bed linen included ) Breakfast bar & stools. Coat hooks, lights & power. Picnic bench. Private outside toilet. BBQ - to be cleaned & ashes disposed of correctly by guests after use. Shared showers, toilets & pot wash facilities (newly built July 2024 ) with communal fridge freezer ( items left at own risk ) these are a short walk away up the main yard. Adults only. On site honesty shop - CCTV inside Guest access Small rural village location. Parking nearby ( small walk ) Other things to note Please use torch provided to move around the site at night. Adults only - Children over the age of 14 if arranged prior 1 well behaved dog to be kept on a lead at all times. If using sat nav please use the address and farm name - post code sends you to our neighbours. check in between 3pm and 9pm - Please no after dark check ins for new arrivals CCTV inside the honesty shop.
