Timber in the main house has been dated to 1564, the year of Shakespeare’s birth. The accommodation includes a sitting room with television, bedroom with King size bed and a sofa bed, television, bath with shower over, kitchen with dishwasher. Guests are welcome to use the washing machine and dryer in the main House by arrangement. They can be loud and can be heard from the Porch House but are generally over by 11.30 The town hall bells are a lovely sound but it can be disturbing if you’re a light sleeper, ear plugs are supplied.
