Royal Kensington, in style
Description
A spacious top floor flat in a historic Victorian building. For hundreds of years Holland Park has provided a comfortable safe haven for people who want to make a difference. You can find coffee shops, an underground station, a bus stop and rental bikes right by the house. Kensington Palace (if you happen to be visiting royalty), Holland Park with its famous Japanese garden, Portobello Road antiques market, the Design Museum and Westfield shopping centre are all within walking distance. The space Whether you're taking your family on holiday or want to experience London living from a local's perspective, this place will not let you down. The flat occupies the entire top floor of a historical protected building. The large and airy dining / living room which runs the length of the flat provides ample space for dining, watching TV or reading (feel free to pick something from my bookshelf). Kitchen (with gas hob and all other amenities, plus enough crockery to serve a large party), private balcony, two bathrooms (one shower, one bath) and three double bedrooms complete the picture. The master bedroom comes with a private bathroom (with shower) and the large guest bedroom has a queen-size bed and plenty of storage space. The little guest room sleeps two on a queen-size futon. If you have a larger group (or the kids want a sleepover), there is a double sofa bed and a comfortable couch (sleeps one) in the living room. Guest access The whole flat is free to use with the exception of the downstairs office and a storage room (both are marked 'private'.) There's plenty of free space in the bedrooms where you can store your clothes, toiletries etc. Other things to note Please note that Holland Park houses were built 150 years ago, so there is no lift or air-conditioning. London has limited public transport on Christmas Day.
