The house overlooks the famous 'Tour de Beaumont' landmark, with 180 degree estuary views, surrounded by countryside and vineyards. It's the perfect get-away for couples; a beautiful mezzanine bedroom with a free-standing bathtub, open plan living, Italian walkin shower & large south facing deck area. The house has anti heat film on all windows + mosquito nets (main) . The space This is an ultra modern home, with bespoke large windows to emphasis the amazing 180 degree views of the Gironde. It is light an airy with a large open plan kitchen with sliding doors to the outside sun deck. The mezzanine bedroom has a king-sized bed and the recent addition of a free-standing bathtub with amazing views. The Italian shower room is solar powered, spacious and light. It a place for nature lovers, perfect for couples who need a get away from it all escape, far from busy over populated touristic areas. Guest access You will be renting the entire property, so the house, parking, garden, decking is all for your private use. Other things to note This is a light house due to the large windows, with open plan living. Therefore it is ideal for couples who enjoy nature and don't require total darkness to sleep. The house DOES NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING and can become hot in the early evening. There is a VENTERLATOR SYSTEM and 2 full height fans . NEW FOR 2024 ANTI HEAT FILM HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY ADDED TO ALL WINDOWS REDUCING THE HEAT BY APPRO. 10 DEGREES. The marais area does have a reputation for mosquitoes. Therefore we provide mosquito bed net and various plug in anti mosquito devices. MOSQUITOS CAN BE MORE OF A PROBLEM DURING THE GRAPE HARVEST & CUTTING THE CROPS. THERE IS NO CLEANING FEE - GUESTS ARE EXPECTED TO CLEAN (Products are available). You can pre-arrange a cleaning service for 70 euro with your booking on on arrival. If our home is not clean, YOU WILL BE CHARGED 80 euro. There is a gas plancha for guest use. Pets are allowed but please contact the owner to check the suitability. Most beaches in France do not allow dogs from June to mid September. Supermarkets are approx. 20 minutes drive. It is a quiet area, offering guests peace and tranquillity.
