Airy one-bedroom garden cottage in Orlando's hippest historic neighborhood. Walk or bike to great restaurants, parks, and bars. The space Modern and airy, this space is ideal for both weekend getaways as well as longer stays. It includes a full bathroom with tub/shower; a bedroom with a closet and a new queen-size bed; a living room with a Roku TV, record player, and queen-size sleeper sofa; and a full kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove, oven, toaster, sink, and kitchen island with stools. Essential dishes, cookware, and ingredients (salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, sugar, etc.) are also provided. Guests are welcome to enjoy the year-round fabulous Florida weather on the patio just outside the cottage, as well as a smaller patio with a fire pit. This garden cottage is located 5 to 10 minutes by car to Downtown Orlando, Advent Health Hospital, Winter Park, and Rollins College; 20 to 35 minutes to Universal, Disney, UCF, and Orlando International Airport (MCO); 35 minutes to Wekiva Springs; and 60-70 minutes to Cocoa Beach and New Smyrna Beach. Various restaurants and shopping can be accessed within a 15-20-minute walk or 5-10-minute bike ride. Guest access You have full 24-hour access to your private garden cottage detached from the main house, as well as the patio with table and chair set (recommended for breakfast, lunch, or sundowners!). Guests have access to a washer and dryer located in the main house's laundry room (through separate back entrance) upon request. Other things to note Hot Water & Water Pressure: Our home has excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water for a comfortable stay. Please note that the shower may take 2–3 minutes to warm up, and the sinks may take a little longer. Once it gets going, you’ll have plenty of hot water to enjoy. Laundry Room: The laundry room is shared between two of our properties. To make things convenient for you, it is reserved exclusively for our Backyard Cottage guests from 1:00 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) each day of your stay. Feel free to use it anytime during those hours.
