The Cedar House is a labor of love by your hosts Richard & Rebecca. Relax, refresh, and work remotely in this adorable cedar shingled cabin. Nestled at the end of a private road, it's a short walk to the Sandy River. The Cedar House is your year-round home base to all Mt Hood Activities. It's minutes to the Sandy Ridge Bike Trails and 20 miles to Timberline Lodge. Enjoy the wind in the trees, feel the sun on your face and explore the multitude of hiking opportunities, ending w/ an amazing soak! The space From the cozy reading area to the hand-painted mural on the bathroom walls, The Cedar House was designed with one goal - to make you feel as nurtured, comfortable and relaxed as possible. Private, large Hot tub under a Gazebo is the perfect end to the day. High speed Wi-Fi included! Airbnb lists 4 beds (because they say since 2 people can sleep in a queen bed and we have 2 queen beds, Airbnb says that there are 4 beds) But there are only 2 queen beds. I am sorry for any confusion this may cause. Other things to note Other things to note Maximum guest count is 4 ( four). No exceptions. No third party guests. If you do not plan on staying please do not book this cabin. If on the rare occasion, you believe that your story is an exception please inquire before you book. If you have a baby (under 1 year old), no need to count her/him in your total guest count, though please let me know who will be staying when you book. Otherwise please account for total # of guests when you book as well as mention any pets. PETS: Up to TWO (2) Dogs (50lbs and under) are allowed if guests are careful to pick up after them and don't allow them on the furniture and beds. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU BOOK IF YOU HAVE A PET! Please do not use the bath towels for your dogs. Please pickup all poop (we have supplied doggie bags for you to use). If your dog needs a bed, we have one - please do not use extra blanks and pillows for your dog. We prefer you do not leave your dog alone at TCH, but if you do, please crate them while you’re gone. If you have a pet you think will be fine and is larger than 50 lbs please just ask. Thank you! Additionally, as stated, we allow well behaved, friendly dog(s) - however that does not extend to other pets in your family. While this list is not all inclusive some examples are no cats, no birds, no lizards, no spiders, no snakes, no ferrets, no hedgehogs...I think you get the idea :-) Other things to note - Please note that prices fluctuate depending on time of year. - No booking if guests are under the age of 23 please. Thank you! - Check-in and check-out times may alter by an hour due to covid cleaning restrictions. Thank you for understanding! - I do not offer refunds due to acts of nature (power outages, storms, etc). Please do let me know via the Airbnb app if there is an issue and I’ll work with you to help get things straightened out :-) - Please check out on time so we have time to clean. - Only your registered guests are allowed on the property unless previous arrangement are made. Absolutely no unauthorized overnight guests. If your guest count changes please update the reservation through Airbnb. I am happy to work with you as long as you don't exceed the maximum number of guests, which is 4. - Pets are allowed and we charge a pet fee (please let us know if you have a pet(s)). The pet fee doesn't cover if you don't pick up poop or if you let your pets on the furniture/beds and they get it muddy/covered in hair. Please bring a pet blanket/bed/towel for your pup or we have to charge an extra cleaning fee for the comforters, etc as they are expensive to clean.
