Spacious 3,000 sq. ft. home with 4 bedrooms (3 queens, 2 twins) and 4 bathrooms, 3 en-suite. Enjoy a formal living room with grand and upright pianos, a cozy TV room, and a fully equipped kitchen with eat-in area leading to a deck with stunning river and mountain views. Formal dining seats 12. Expansive grounds are perfect for relaxing or hosting special events. Just a 10-min walk to Brattleboro’s Main Street shops, cafes, and culture. The space A beautiful deck overlooks the Connecticut River and is the perfect place to sip aperitifs while watching boats go by. Large front and back yard. Within a five-minute walk is the picturesque town of Brattleboro filled with antique shops, art galleries, book and clothing stores, and restaurants. Also nearby are amazing hiking trails (summer) and ski trails (winter). Please note that the house in only partially air-conditioned with one split unit located in the main living areas, and one split unit in each of the 2 queen bedrooms on the 1st floor . We do have ceiling fans and oscillating tower fans around the house as well. Guest access Guests can access the whole house, except for parts of the second floor which are reserved exclusively for the owner's intermittent use. (Owner's won't be present when guests are in the house). Other things to note As far as pets are concerned, we welcome dogs only and absolutely no cats (Issues with allergies). We also have an additional Pack 'n Play. The Amtrak train passes by the house 3 times a day (around 6:00am, 6:00pm and 12:00am) creating slight noise disturbances for about 5 min each.
