Log cabin with over 300 feet of frontage on a small 'no wake' lake. Lots of privacy and a gorgeous porch to relax and enjoy the mature woods and view of the lake. New owners (same family) starting 2022 rental season and we're making improvements constantly. This is a log cabin in the woods on a quiet (no power boats allowed) lake. Bedding is supplied for all 13 beds, all modern conveniences are there. Entire cabin, shed and property is usable. Grill, kayaks, canoe, laundry room are free to use. Please treat the property as you would your own place. Do not cut any trees on property (living or not). There is plenty of room for parking! Just 7 miles from Gaylord. Short walk (or ride) to state trails from the cabin. One hour from the Mackinaw bridge, 40 min to Petoskey and, of course, close to golf (too many courses to name). Questions can be texted to Shari or Steve, we do have a local friend that can react to immediate problems if need be. This is right in the middle of some of the best golfing in Michigan, too many great courses to mention. The Mackinaw bridge is less than an hour to the North, Grayling and the Ausable river 30 minutes south. Viewing the Elk in Pigeon River recreation area (20 minutes northeast ) is always fun. Of course Gaylord is only 7 miles away and offers some of the best restaurants around. You can ride straight out of the property and get to dnr trails with atvs or snowmobiles. Dnr maintained Cross country ski trails are just 2 miles away, or ski down the snowmobile trails from the cabin. The fishing has been spectacular the last few years (2018-2021) with large bass, pike, jumbo perch, panfish. A family of otters has been spotted this past year as well. Loons frequent the lake especially spring through early summer. You can ride your bike or hike through some great trails right outside the cabin. Pets are welcome if they are house broken. Clean up after pets. There is over 300’ of waterfront so there is plenty of room for your pets to run on our property and beach.
